Personality: She's a pretty down to earth and responsible girl, in the sense that she's careful enough to not get herself killed. She's never been particularily social, but she's flexible enough to work in groups, as long as she'll eventually get what she wants. However, she's not exactly quiet if people are frustrating her or being, in her opinion, idiots. Maxine will explain to them exactly why they are morons, using her sharp toungue and sarcasm to the extreme. Her survival instinct is one of the things that's kept her alive this long. She hasn't opened every door she's come across just to see if there's some useful thing in their and maybe risk her life, and she's always doing things the, in her own opinion, least dangerous and most logical way.
Background: Maxine was a girl who'd been spending the years before the outbreak either with her head in a book or on a bike. She'd moved away from her parents flat in New York to attend a college near Brenshaw, also leaving two younger brothers behind her. When the news of the outbreak and New York's fall came, it hit her hard. She was lucky to be out in the middle of nowhere, the few days she took to mourn and do nothing would have been her death otherwise. Survival instincts kicked in quickly enough, and she managed to stock up on supplies before the infected overran Brenshaw. Now she's decided to head out to Washington before her supplies run out and she's left as good as dead.
